  10. Hi, thanks for useful program!
I’m using opensuse 11.2 and Parcellite 0.9.1. To make it work properly I have to unchecked every thing on Clipboards preferences item. Without this, the copy and paste on the same program(for example: firefox) doesn’t work.
    Thanks,

    Gilberto

  11. I just realized the under parcellite 0.9.2, the information copied from vim cannot be pasted out if vim is closed, not like 0.9.1. Is this the intended way? I’ve deleted my old configuration to make sure it is not a configuration problem.

  13. Hi!

Very nice work! Parcellite seems to be able to replace klipper in Gnome/GTK finally. Hopefully the problems with OOo will solved in further versions?…

  14. Thanks for this great Tool.

I have used for Years on KDE Klipper.
Then switched to Fluxbox, but used again only Klipper.

I have found Parcellite and use only him, it is excellent and great program.

    ~/.fluxbox/startup
    parcellite &
    #klipper &

I am now kde libs free!!!

  15. Great little program, just what I needed. I like that it’s so light weight. Running it on all my computers now :-)

  16. I love this application, it just makes my life a lot easier. Thank you.

Just one request (for the author or someone else): Please add an option to paste automatically when selecting an item from the list. I’ve tried to implement this but failed, since I couldn’t find the system function to actually paste some content.

Once again, thank you for this great software.

  18. Dear Gilberto:

The content in my “~/.xinitrc” was:
    parcellite &
    icewm &

After I get into X with the command with “startx”, I found parcellite will create a blank window in icewm.
Maybe it’s a problem of icewm, but would you try to fix it?
    Thank you a lot :)

By Miner on Apr 3, 2010

  19. @Miner
I think that’s been mentioned before as a race condition in IceWM. Simply add a sleep of about 10 seconds before you start Parcellite in your .xinitrc.
